What Rice Farming Reveals
Since 2024, we have been growing rice using paddies in the Kansai region. With the cooperation of local communities, our team participates in processes such as planting and harvesting, experiencing the agricultural world that most people rarely encounter in daily life. Engaging with the time and effort required to grow rice provides an opportunity to understand — not just intellectually, but physically — the hard work and ingenuity behind every bowl of rice we take for granted.
